"The Orient was a great inspiration for Mr. Dior - he made a trip there - but sometimes I travel in my mind,"という、John Gallianoの発言にあるようにインスピレーション・ソースはオリエンタル。
イカットやペイズリー柄が用いられており、また、カラーパレットはとても多様でした。個人的にはグレー/シルバーのLookが良いなと思いましたね。あと、コートなどで使われていたファーやハーレムパンツも気になりました。
independent.co.ukに載っていた（元々はWWDですが）John Gallianoの、
"this is a credit, not a creative, crisis. Our clients still want fashion; still want to be inspired. Right now, fashion should be a morale booster, escapist, excellent and constant."
という言葉は、現在のつくり手側の心理をよく表しているなとちょっと思ってしまいましたね。
